The Best Shrimp Fettuccine That You Will Ever Eat
By Ray Zimmerman
The title says it all. This Five Star Shrimp Fettuccine Recipe will undoubtedly provide you with the finest Shrimp Fettuccine that you will ever have the pleasure of placing on your taste buds. If you love shrimp and you also love fettuccine, make sure that you print this recipe so you can provide your family and friends with a mouth-watering masterpiece direct from your kitchen. Your guests will shower you with compliments when you serve them this absolutely outstanding dish. This recipe is already slightly spicy. I would like to recommend that you do not add any additional seasonings to make it hotter when you prepare this for the first time, especially if young children will be at the dinner table. You can easily increase the spiciness of the Shrimp Fettuccine by adding a little Cajun seasoning when at the dinner table. This way, each person has an opportunity to season this dish to their individual taste. Ingredients • 1 lb. Medium Shrimp (peeled and deveined) • 1/2 lb. Fettuccine Noodles (cooked and drained) • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (finely grated) • 3 oz. Velveeta Cheese (cut in pieces) • 1/2 cup Milk • 1 stick Butter (melted) • 2 tbsp. Flour • 1 med. Onion (diced) • 2/3 med. Green Bell Pepper (diced) • 1 tsp. Jalapeno Pepper (minced) • 1 1/2 tbsp. Parsley (finely chopped) • 1/4 tsp. Salt • 1/4 tsp. Celery Salt • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder • 1 tsp. Tony’s (Cajun) Seasoning (to taste) How to Prepare • Melt butter in a 5 qt. non-stick pot. • Add onions and bell pepper. Cook on medium heat until onions are translucent. • Add salt, celery salt, black pepper, garlic powder and Cajun seasoning to flour in a small bowl. • Dump flour mixture into pot and mix well. • Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low heat. • Add shrimp and cook for 10 minutes longer (stir often). • Add Velveeta cheese and stir mixture until all of the cheese is melted. • Add milk and stir well. • Start to cook fettuccine noodles in slightly salted water. • Cook on low heat for 20 minutes. • Add cooked fettuccine noodles and parsley and mix thoroughly. • If the Shrimp Fettuccine is too thick, simply add a little milk to thin until a nice creamy sauce is achieved. Add Cajun seasoning to taste, if needed. • Heat to serving temperature and serve with garlic bread and a salad. Serves 6. You can easily spice up this Shrimp Fettuccine recipe by simply adding a little red pepper or a little more minced jalapeno pepper. If for any reason dinner is delayed, simply cover and keep warm on a low heat. Before placing in a serving disk, make sure that you check the consistency of the sauce. Make sure the sauce is creamy. Add a little milk to thin if necessary. If this isn’t the best Shrimp Fettuccine that you have ever tasted, please let me know. This is my gift to the members of Qondio.
